OM Sound of Creation

The symbol for the “Sound of Creation” is painted red with gold metallic. It is coming out of the center of the white starburst energy, with waves of OM expanding around it. This represents our conscience thoughts and words taking action to manifest matter in our world. The circle with the 4 equal parts is a symbol for “Earth.” In the center is a heart with a stemmed flower growing up from it. This is a reminder to send LOVE to the EARTH by our thoughts, words, and deeds to create beauty on planet earth.

Nature & Cosmic Symbols

The three green organic forms representing nature have silver and gold metallic symbols on top of them. The first symbol starting from the left is termed “World Triad” which “was adopted by western Gnostics as an emblem of Cosmic Creativity . . .” The second symbol is called the “Cosmic Egg” and the third symbol is “Triquetra” which “is an ancient symbol of the female trinity . . . always regarded as protective.” The quotes are from the book, The Woman’s Dictionary of Symbols & Sacred Objects.” Written by: Barbara G Walker

From Duality To Infinity

This painting coincides with its title and therefore suggests an open-mindedness to explore the many possibilities beyond the Third Dimensional plane of reality or consciousness. The blue U shape with hooks at each end, is a symbol for Summer as referenced from “The Woman’s Dictionary of Symbols & Sacred Objects.”

Turbulent Waters Calm Center

The idea behind this image & title is that through chaos comes change for harmony and a new direction towards peaceful means. The symbol on the leaf is called “The Ondine” which is described as “the spirit of water. . .” The was quoted from the book, The Secret Language of Symbols, by David Fontana.

Four Directions Experiencing the Same Energy

The meaning behind this visual is that the 4 differently colored leaves from same plant species represent humans as we all have different outward appearances, but inwardly and all around us are the same energy particles. The center white orb and silver symbols over and around it represent a focal point to pause and think about this unseen connective energy, which does not judge form. The silver symbols come from Dr. Meg’s article “November 27th, 2007. Her Web Site is www.spiritlite.com

Triangle of Life

The energy of the Red, Yellow, and Green colors visually moving outward represents a vortex of creation. Inside this vortex is a downward pointed triangle called “Yoni Yantra”, a Sanskrit word that has several meanings but in this painting the intended meaning is “eternal life creating.” “The yantra means a meditation sign, like a shorthand form of the mandala.” The pink flower and roots extending off two points of the triangle, represent nature. In almost all of my artwork, the figure 8 symbolizes Infinity. The quotes above are from the book “The Women’s Dictionary of Symbols & Sacred Objects” by Barbara G. Walker
